Thanks to multiple matching gifts and many, many generous donors, we raised over $58,000 to help us AMPLIFY HOPE in 2025!
Ringing in the New Year - LOUDLY, with 1500 college students!!
We began the year by partnering with the college ministry Cru to coach their student worship team and help craft the musical worship moments for their Indianapolis Winter Conference (Dec 28th-Jan 1st).
As you may know, Scott Naylor (Two Eight’s Director of Music Ministry and Events) worked with Cru’s music ministry for over 20 years prior to joining Two Eight in 2023. He continues to serve as a trusted consultant for some of Cru’s largest conference events, and was glad to help them once again. During this year’s Winter Conference, one of the student musicians told Scott that he had actually made the decision to follow Jesus at the previous year’s conference. Now, he was very excited to get to use his musical ability to help other students get the same chance!
Over the next few weeks, Two Eight will be leading worship for 2 more college conferences - Athletes in Action in Chicago and Greek InterVarsity in Indianapolis. At last year’s Greek Intervarsity conference, over 20% of the attendees indicated making decisions to follow Jesus! Please keep our team in your prayers as we help these ministries create moments where students can encounter Jesus.
Gearing Up for Summer of Recovery 2025
We are already in the planning stages for the 2025 Summer of Recovery tour and are working with Indiana’s Division of Mental Health and Addiction to find cities that would benefit the most from our events. Our goal is to take the tour to areas of the state that have not had significant recovery events, and do not have established RCOs (Recovery Community Organizations). Please pray for us as we plan to take a message of faith, hope and love to where it is desperately needed and hardest to find.
