Merry Christmas from Two Eight!
Light has dawned
“The people walking in darkness have seen a great light; on those living in the land of deep darkness a light has dawned.”
- Isaiah 9:2, ESV
From our families to yours, we want to wish you a Merry Christmas!
Light has come into the world. This Saturday (December 21st) is winter solstice: the longest night of the year. It is during the darkest times that we cherish the light and hope of Christ. Thank you for helping us bring this light to some of the places in our city and state that need it most right now.
Each year we get to be on the front lines of life change and breakthrough but also great sorrow and loss remembering those who were not able to escape the bondage of addiction and deep depression.
BREAKING NEWS!
Our Giving Tuesday campaign brought in over $22,000! And, we recently had ANOTHER generous donor make a matching grant, so every dollar given from now until the end of the year will be matched - up to $25,000!
So…
A $50 donation becomes $100
A $250 donation becomes $500
And so on…
It’s not too late to double your impact and donate if you have end-of year giving you’d like to do!
2024 in the rearview mirror
This was a very busy year for us, and it is with a very deep sense of gratitude that we share the highlights of what we were able to do this year:
We worked with Cru, Athletes in Action and Greek InterVarsity to help produce major conferences and create moments where next-generation student leaders could experience Jesus and step into their calling.
We did year 3 of the Summer of Recovery Tour, taking a message of hope throughout the state to people struggling with mental health and addiction issues.
We helped launch the inaugural Recovery and Faith Conference, which brought together faith community leaders, elected officials and state agency leaders to deepen the connection between recovery and faith communities.
We came alongside other non-profits with technical and program production to help accelerate their work with events like fundraisers, book launches and community gatherings.
We had the privilege of leading worship at local churches and even shared the stage with CCM artist Cochren and Company.
We helped throw a party and raise funds for the Off-Drug Support Group, a grassroots organization in Columbus, IN where the founder, Vicki Axsom told us “Two Eight really brought this community together.”
We released new music! Our own Amber O’Brien, Two Eight’s Director of Operations, released two new songs - Gen/Rev and Masterpiece.
Finally…
Once again, thank you! We were able to take a message of faith, hope and love to where it is desperately needed and hardest to find because of your prayers and financial commitments. You are partners with us as we create music and moments that move people towards Jesus, and we’re grateful.
